David P. Arnstein, M.D.
Dr. Arnstein brings more than 20 years of experience of the Otolaryngology field to ENT of Los Gatos. Native to the state of California, David Arnstein received his Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and was a Ph.D. candidate at University of California before fulfilling his MD at George Washington University Medical School in 1984.
In addition to his recognized publications, extensive presentation and abstracts experiences, and societies, Dr. Arnstein has been named, consecutively since 1998, as one of the Best Doctors in America and in 2000 as one of the Best Bay Area Physicians. His board certifications include American Board of Otolaryngology (1990) and the National Board of Medicine (1984).
Rom R. Karin, M.D.
Dr. Rom Karin has been practicing otolaryngology in Los Gatos since 1990. He received his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine in 1983. His internship in General Surgery was completed at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. He completed his residency at The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa in 1989. The University of Iowa is considered to be one of the nation’s best training programs in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Following residency, Dr. Karin was an American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Fellow in Otolaryngology at the University of Iowa and remained on faculty with a focus on sinus disorders and pediatric otolaryngology until joining the physicians at Ear, Nose & Throat of Los Gatos in 1990.
Dr. Karin’s current focus is the area of nasal and sinus disorders, having traveled to Austria to obtain additional training in Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. He has had the honor of serving as Chairman of the Division of Otolaryngology at Good Samaritan Hospital, Chairman of the Insurance Review Committee of the Santa Clara County Medical Association and member of the Staff Executive Committee and Credentials Committee at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Dr. Karin is board certified through the American Board of Otolaryngology (1989), National Board of Medical Examiners (1984), and the State of California. He has remained active in medical societies such as American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery, California Medical Association, and Santa Clara County Medical Association.
Dr. Karin is married with 3 children. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking and skiing. His philosophy is to provide the most advanced techniques with a compassionate and caring attitude to help his patients with their ear, nose and throat disorders.
William S. Lewis, M.D.
Native to California, Dr. Lewis brings 21 years of professional experience in the Otolaryngology field. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from University of California in 1982, graduating with the highest honors, before he continued on to obtain his MD at the University of Southern California. Again, at the top of his class, he received the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence for two consecutive years and was a part of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
In the State of California, Dr. Lewis is a licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser, Qualified Medical Evaluator, and California Physician & Surgeon. He is also a licensed X-Ray Supervisor and has his Operator permit. Dr. Lewis still remains active in many associations, and most recently was named President of the Santa Clara County Medical Association after 18 years of being an active part of the Association. He has also played a key role in many divisions of Good Samaritan Hospital since 1995.
